In the original Tarzan of the Apes. I remember the conversation between D'Arnot and Tarzan about the apes, and how they can never plan ahead. How Kala and Kerchak would have Tarzan feeling burdened by carrying extra food with him. The apes never did that, they ate how much they needed, and left everything else alone even if it were plenty, and would just go hungry later when things were scarce. They would happily have a share of Tarzan's packed food though when food was low.
"Even Kala, my mother, could never plan ahead. She simply ate what she
needed when she needed it, and if the supply was very scarce, even
though she found plenty for several meals, she would never gather any
ahead.
I remember that she used to think it very silly of me to burden myself
with extra food upon the march, though she was quite glad to eat it with

Maybe there was no way for Tarzan to convey it was a good idea in ape language, or maybe their minds just couldn't think the same way his human brain can.
That is what it feels like trying to explain why Air Fryers are so great to someone who doesn't have one. Someone who does not see the rewards of having one, will say there's nothing it can do that he cant already do in his own kitchen with his own appliances already. That is just a small convection oven.
But that's exactly it, IT is a small convection oven, one that doesn't really need to be preheated, one that takes up little space, and cooks and crisps food in a way that a microwave just cannot. Yeah it wont actually be the same as a deep fryer, but it is a lot less effort and you get food that is mostly without compromise. And you can just put stuff in there and walk away, and come back to it when it is done with no worry of having your house burn down. I've cooked fried chicken in it, baked potatoes, burgers, even pork chops and steaks if i was feeling lazy. Most of the time its just a way for me to heat up frozen food, and it is really good at doing that.
Also in a similar line of thinking, this is how it feels knowing how great Fromis_9 is, but not being able to explain it to people, because their minds just can't comprehend.
