Heat Index and Real Feel

The temperatures are already rising here in Florida. Summer starts in April here I guess. I wonder how "Heat Index" or "Real Feel" is calculated though. I mean how they gonna say its 80 degrees but then also tell you it feels like 113 degrees? Actually I don't think there's any math or calculations. It is probably just a simple flow chart.

Step 1.
    Measure the current Temperature.

Does it feel hot enough? if Yes go to step 2a. if not go to step 2b.

Step 2a.
    Done.

Step 2b.
    Add a few degrees.

Does it feel hot enough? if Yes go to step 2a. if not go to step 2b.

I like the heat though, so I'm thriving, I'm in my element. But I guess I should be giving you the tech for staying cool in this weather.

Go BAREFOOT

As the sweat on your feet evaporates, it cools the skin and the blood in your feet. Blood vessels then whisk that blood to other parts of the body.

and obviously stay hydrated and don't eat yeet hay.
